THE WESTERN BREEZE GAME & SAFARI LODGE:

The Western Breeze Game & Safari Lodge: The Western Breeze Game & Safari Lodge is currently utilized as the international TM-African Bowhunting Safari camp for hunting and accommodation purposes. Clients are mostly from the USA and always return home satisfied with an unforgettable African hunting experience, as close to nature as it gets. The main lounge is stylishly furnished with an indoor lounge and outdoor lapa with cozy fire-places in both, commercial kitchen and public restrooms. The current international agreement with TM-Safari’s is optional. Should the buyer be interested this agreement may continue uninterrupted if agreed upon between both parties.

BUILDINGS, ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES:

WELTEVREDEN

All five units are self-catering and fully furnished with spectacular views. The interior is stylishly finished with fresh, high-quality linen and towels. The units create a relaxed and rustic atmosphere with each having a thatched outdoor lapa, built-in braai, an outdoor fire-pit and a swimming or plunge pool nearby.  Privacy and tranquility take high priority at The Western Breeze where every guest becomes one with nature. A communal-area with ablution facilities is also on site with an indoor lounge and outdoor lapa with a bar-area and cozy fireplaces in each. All units are furnished with air conditioning and WI-Fi.

CHALETS – THE WESTERN BREEZE:

•  Eland Lodge & Buffalo Lodge

Two en-suite bedrooms, (Bedroom 1 – Queen-size bed and 1 single bed, Bedroom 2: 1 Queen-size bed), are located on either side of the living area with fully equipped kitchenette and lounge, air conditioning, private swimming pool and outdoors thatched lapa with built-in braai/BBQ with a beautiful mountain view. These chalets are close to the main communal area. Each chalet sleeps 5.

•  River Lodge

Three-bedroomed chalet consisting of one en-suite with Queen-size bed and bathroom, and one bedroom with a double bed and adjacent bathroom. Fully equipped kitchenette. Air conditioning, private splash pool and beautiful, tranquil setting adjacent to the stream. With its own entrance and the stream separating it from the others, River Lodge is secluded and private, yet thanks to its footbridge one can easily access the communal area in just a couple of minutes’ walks. Sleeps 4.

•  Oryx Lodge & Sable Lodge

Located further up the valley, away from the others, these two chalets are ideal for a large group or two-family friends as they share the same entrance and a swimming pool. They are split level chalets with the ground floor consisting of an en-suite twin bedroom (2 single beds), fully equipped kitchenette and the thatched lapa, built-in braai area. Upstairs is a loft with three single beds and balcony overlooking the stream (Sable) and pool area (Oryx). They have air conditioning and have spectacular views of the mountain, stream and valley. Each chalet sleeps 5.

DIEPKLOOF WELTEVREDEN Luxury Lodge – Weltevreden (Sleep 20)

The spacious luxury lodge is finished to the highest standards overlooking its own private dam and surrounded by gorgeous exotic wildlife wandering freely amongst its beautiful lawns.  It is ideal for getting away for an undisturbed and tranquil bushveld safari. This exquisite lodge has 5 stylishly and fully equipped bedrooms with full access to a beautiful fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and outside entertainment area with a thatched lapa and built-in BBQ, bar-counter and area and swimming pool.  The bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout, as well as DSTV in the main lounge and entertainment area.

A beautiful lodge situated in the very heart of the bush with spectacular views and secure parking.   A Thatched Luxury building with a luxurious living area and bar.   There is 4 separate en-suite units (sleeps 2 each). Swimming pool and boma braai with community restrooms.

Diepkloof Guest House (sleep 8) Rotsvy

Situated in the midst of the bush and built at the foot of the mountain.  A thatched building with 2 en-suite bedrooms with a loft.  The living area and kitchen is partially build into natural rocks.  Air conditioning.  Boma.

BIRDLIFE

Hundreds of different migratory bird species are found at the Western Breeze on a seasonal basis. The highlight of these visitors is the colorful Red-Throated Bee Eater, whose breeding ground is located at one of our abandoned water holes.  This truly makes for a spectacular sight in the months of October and November.

KLIMAAT
